Papa B Show EXTENDED!

Great news! The opening for the show "I'm Still Here" at Papa B Studios in Bushwick was such a hit, that the show is being extended through July 25. The work is all local artists mostly from Brooklyn, and the pieces are for sale and go straight to the artist's pocket. So, if you're feeling extra generous, buy some art. Hope you all can make it, and for those who came out last night, I had a blast. Thanks for a great party!

ISE Cultural Foundation Exhibition 2008

I will be showing a new print in ISE Cultural Foundation's Student Exhibition 2008. The show runs from July 11 - August 30, 2008, and features emerging artists from Japan and the U.S. There is no official opening party, but there is a closing celebration on August 30th, so there's plenty of time to see the new work.

Papa B Studios OPENING!

Hey all, more big news. Friday, July 11, I'll be showing a video in a group show to promote the upcoming Bushwick Film Festival. The show, entitled "I'm Still Here", will be held at the newly-opened Papa B Studios. The opening is July 11, from 7-11PM. The space is located at 907 Broadway, Brooklyn NY 11206. It's a one-night only show, so I hope you can be there.

SYNTHETIC ZERO

meKaniKdolls are having our first LIVE performance in a gallery this Saturday, June 28, as part of a Bronx Art Council Open Studios event. The 2nd Annual Mott Haven Open Studios event, coordinated by Laura Napier, features a studio tour in the South Bronx.

SYNTHETIC ZERO is a program featuring experimental video, performance, and visual art. The new loft event will be held at the new SYNTHETIC ZERO art space at 305 E. 140th St. #1A, Bronx, NY 10454. The event is FREE and will feature filmmakers, performance artists, and visual artists from a broad range of mediums and features work on an international scale. The event is being held from 12(noon)-6PM, and the performances will be from 3PM-6PM in the mainspace.

We are performing at 5PM in the SZ Space.

I hope to see you all there! We are going to be performing our live, improvisational sound, paired with interpretive dance and manipulated film projection. We are looking forward to showing our new work, and it's sure to be an engaging, exciting, and interactive experience for all who attend.
